Juan Villena, un médico infectólogo, habló sobre la expansión de esta enfermedad y señaló que el virus de COVID-19 necesita ingresar a un organismo humano para lograr sobrevivir y continuar replicándose, en ese sentido destacó la importancia de cumplir con el aislamiento social obligatorio para detener el incremento de la curva de contagio.

‘’Si se acatara la cuarentena, el último infectado podría estar libre del virus en aproximadamente dos semanas’’, señaló el especialista. Además agregó que cumplir la cuarentena podría evitar que los pacientes asintomáticos continúen contagiando a más personas.
